In Africa, Dr Veerle Van Tricht worked as cataract surgeon between 1993 and 2001. She was as a Vitreoretinal consultant in one of the biggest university hospitals, in Pretoria, South Africa. She also owns a successful private practices in Bruges, Belgium. She is a seasoned ophthalmologist.
Yag Laser Capsulotomy
We take care of a condition called posterior capsule opacification (PCO) that can occur after cataract surgery
Chalazion
We remove common eyelid condition characterized by the formation of a painful, firm lump or swelling on the eyelid.
Skin Tag
We treat all manner of common skin growth close to the eyes through snipping& cauterization.
Yag Peripheral Iridotomy
We take care of certain conditions that affect the drainage of fluid in the eye, such as narrow-angle glaucoma or certain types of ocular hypertension
Narrow Angle Treatment
We treat narrow angles with a laser, to prevent Acute Angle Closure. Narrow-angle occurs when the drainage angle in the eyes has become blocked, leading to increased pressure in the eyes.
